Getting to Shenzhen

### By Air Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport (SZX) is located on the western coast. The striking Terminal 3 handles both domestic and international flights with connections to major Asian cities.

**Airport to City Center:** - **Metro Line 11:** Express service to Futian CBD in about 35 minutes. Runs 6:30 AM - 11:00 PM. - **Airport Bus:** Multiple routes, ¥20-30. - **Taxi/DiDi:** About ¥100-130 to Futian, 40-50 minutes.

Visa-Free Transit

Shenzhen offers multiple visa-free options:

**144-hour visa-free transit:** For citizens of 54 countries transiting through Bao'an Airport. Travel permitted within Guangdong province (including Guangzhou, Zhuhai, and the airports).

**Shenzhen Special Economic Zone Visa (口岸签证):** Citizens of some countries can obtain a 5-day visa at the Luohu, Futian, or Shekou border checkpoints when entering from Hong Kong. Check eligibility for your nationality.

Getting Around

**Metro:** Shenzhen's metro has 16 lines and is expanding rapidly. Clean, efficient, and affordable (¥2-14). Covers all major areas. Use Alipay to scan at gates — no ticket needed.

**DiDi:** Works seamlessly. Shenzhen also has a large fleet of electric taxis (BYD) — starting fare ¥10.
